Join the Michigan Mandolin Orchestra for their 2024 Holiday Concert Series – The Grand Rapids based MMO, a sixteen piece orchestra with mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos, guitars and bass is led by Michigan’s mandoliner Brian Oberlin. They will perform the stunning Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson and music from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. From the modern classical mandolin repertoire, the orchestra will play Oberlin's 2018 piece, Northern Waters. Rounding out the concert, the mandolinists will enlighten fans with Christmas favorites and finally, music director Brian Oberlin and several members of the group will play Swinging Christmas songs.
